Now it's not like Sasha heard this conversation and I was expecting her to actually act still in love with August but August doesn't behave any differently either and I really hoped he would. And this doesn't change the game in any way. When August is asking Fiona if Sasha's ever talked about him, why wouldn't Fiona play it up as Sasha having been in love with August and it was just Fiona that was responsible for the betrayal? Fiona would do anything to protect her sister and if August thinking Sasha's in love with him will prevent him from shooting her then yeah sure, no really August, you guys should talk it over, she really misses you. during the recent playthrough I've been doing where I took all the Jackapedia screenshots, something occurred to me in Old Haven. My other story complaint about this game is also about railroading so I guess I just really hate that. It feels railroaded, even if you make choices that make it seem like it would be less likely or even impossible. You can definitely make it feel less forced by being a nice guy, my main complaint is that the romance happens regardless because they wanted it to be canon across all playthroughs and I don't agree with that. I would definitely agree putting a flower in her hair would be EXTREMELY weird and out of place if I went pure straight All Hail Hyperion throughout the game up to now (possibly weirder than my funicular obsession), but I like to think everything leading up to this point in this particular playthrough works out. She sees a side of him that she didn't expect, and really the only reason she was so adamant on hating him to begin with was just because he works for Hyperion. I can also imagine they all got along fairly well in the road trip title card playing games and fixing the car. Both him and Vaughn then came back to Hollow Point and indirectly helped them with Athena through Loader Bot. They made it out together and she saw that Rhys turned down the deal with Vasquez because he wouldn't sell out Vaughn. She was generally distrustful of him but I had him play nice with her back in episode 1 when everyone got split up.
